Roma have turned their attention to Chelsea defender Axel Disasi after a series of frustrating transfer setbacks. According to reports from Footmercato, the Italian club initiated talks with both Chelsea and the player's representatives.

Chelsea set a €20m asking price for Disasi. The Blues signed the 28-year-old center-back from AS Monaco for €45m in the summer of 2023. Disasi remains under contract at Stamford Bridge until June 2029.
Roma hope to secure the Frenchman on loan with an option to buy. Disasi spent the second half of last season on loan at West Ham United. He previously came close to joining Serie A side Milan in January before negotiations collapsed.
