The Golden State Warriors are looking to finalize their roster by adding another impact piece around Steph Curry, despite operating with limited financial flexibility. After missing out on marquee free agent LeBron James, who opted to join the Philadelphia 76ers, the franchise quickly pivoted its attention toward bolstering the supporting cast.

According to ESPN's Shams Charania, veteran forward Draymond Green officially returned to the organization on a one-year, $27.7 million deal. Green previously opted out of his contract specifically to grant the front office the necessary salary cap room to pursue James before shifting focus back to internal continuity.

With star forward Jimmy Butler currently sidelined recovering from an ACL injury, Sports Illustrated analyst Joey Akeley suggests the front office could target 14-year veteran Bradley Beal. Beal has earned $342 million in career contracts and offers dangerous perimeter shooting when available on the hardwood.

Based on recent reports, acquiring the 33-year-old guard remains a high-risk gamble due to extensive injury struggles that limited him to just six appearances during the previous campaign. However, securing a healthy version of the elite scorer would immediately provide vital floor spacing and dynamic offensive production alongside Curry.
